People face trash problem everyday. We try to segregate but the segregated trash end up in the same pile of waste. We only wish we could help do the third R (recycle) in the well-known 3R of solid waste management but we either have no time, or, we have no space, or, we are not encouraged at all. In Cash 4 Trash, we organize waste pickers, we engage households and commercial establishments in segregating and recycling by being partners. Yes! Partners!

Housing is becoming increasingly expensive, in terms of building development. The process of building a house not only costs a lot of money, but also takes a lot of time and manpower. A major factor in these high costs is procuring, transporting, and assembling the necessary materials like cement and wood. Another problem addressed by 3D PrintEarth is the alarming rate of waste generation in the Philippines. As of 2011, the Philippines generate 35,000 tons of waste everyday, 16% of...

It is vital for this generation to have an on-going power source in the middle of a Blackout; hence an alternative source will be available to accommodate the need of having a source of electricity. Not only this, we also aim to lessen the use of hazardous and toxic by-products such as coal and fuel that is being burned to have an amount of energy for some generators which we all know has a significant effect to environment. This project also will allow regular consumers to have an...

The problem that we are trying to solve is the vicious cycle of water and energy waste in water distribution network due to leaks.   Leaks in a water distribution network, whether minor (e. g. can fill a water bucket in a day) or major (e. g. can fill a water tanker in a day) are inevitable primarily due to the wear-and-tear of the connections of the network (e. g. pipe connections, service connections etc.).   However, what most operators of water distribution...

Did you know that most middle income families waste more than P2,000 a month in electric bills? With very similar homes, most people are shocked to find out that I only pay around P1,000 a month to Meralco while they shell out no less than P3,000. The reason: behavior at home affects electric consumption a lot... and not many people have energy-saving habits. Despite the promise of lower expenses, very few would be willing to change their behavior. And even among those willing, fewer still...

Our project is trying to solve the air pollution, fuel/energy waste. There are 9 million registered motor vehicles in the Philippines and it increases 200,000 units annually, most are in the urban areas. As the vehicle gets older, its efficiency goes down and consumes more fuel and burns it incompletely producing more gunk and soot in the engine and exhaust. Electric vehicles are cleaner, but will take   billions   of dollars and  decades   of time to complete. The Clean Turbo...
